An artist from an early age, Justin played trombone for several musical groups, including the University of Nebraska’s Marching Band. His musical pursuits led to a deep understanding of harmony, proportion, texture, dynamics, and rhythm – translating into a talent for architecture and design. Since graduating with a Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska, he has built his career on a solid foundation of traditional design principles. Louis Kahn’s use of mass, form, and materials taught him that great design is often achieved from the simplest ideas – that the smallest details can make or break a project.

A senior architect at DRAW, Justin brings an interest in site and urban design, residential design, and sustainability. He is driven by the limitless possibilities in design and leverages innovation while honoring the natural history of a space. His work is featured at the new terminal at KCI and the catalytic transit hub at 1531 Holmes, among many others
